Motion Disabled: Faces is a three monitor time-based installation which explores the human voice and face using CGI and motion capture combined with accidents in both storytelling and animation. This highly experimental and complex work features several well known disabled actors and their words and poetry. A range of emotions, such as joy and sadness, are mapped and manipulated in an exploration of difference. The process uses techniques associated with computer games to capture intricate facial movements. Motion Disabled: Faces was premiered in West Bromwich in 2013 at The Public.
