During 2012 the BBC World Service interviewed Simon Mckeown, discussing his Motion Disabled Unlimited project on the cultural programme The Strand, to a world wide audience of 40 million.

Mckeown features in the first 7 minutes of this radio interview and discusses his work Motion DIsabled: Unlimited which features some of Britain's top Paralympians. 

The interview was published on the 30/08/2012 with the overall programme being 18 minutes long. The Strand features the best of the world's arts, film, music and literature brought to you every day and this particular programme was presented by Mark Coles.

The Image on the right is from Simon McKeown's large, inflatable Motion Disabled sculpture which showcased in Oxford as part of the summer 2012 Olympic Torch Parade.
