In 2009 McKeown was invited by arts producer Jo Verrent (now of We Are Unlimited) to present at an arts event at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, UK. In Q&A following a presentation on the development of Motion Disabled, McKeown was questioned as to where and how Motion Disabled could further be developed and delivered with the option of outdoor projection highlighted in response. Some months later, Verrent contacted McKeown and Motion Disabled was recut and edited for a projection event facilitated by Lumen of Leeds.
As part of Light Night Leeds (Ocober 2010), Motion Disabled was projected in a huge form onto Leeds College of Technology, dominating the cityscape. Further in the centre of Leeds in Millenium Square Motion Disabled played, as well as through a live feed from the College of Technology.
